For instance, checking the statistics of the pages can identify the posts that have the most views. The comments can also be checked to know what the audience is thinking or asking. The blogs with most views can be evaluated too. The main topic of those highly-viewed posts would give an idea of what the target market is looking for. The voice or style of the competitors can also be assessed.

A potential blog reader would usually identify with a certain style of a blog. Make money blogging is all about developing a voice that the audience can relate to so the author has to be very comfortable with the style of the blog. It will not be as effective if it does not sound natural.
